New Online Library Resources for 2019

TU Dublin - City Campus became members of the IReL consortium in 2018.

IReL is a nationally funded online research library providing leading STM (Science, Technology and Medicine) and HSS (Humanities and Social Sciences) collections to members institutions.

As a result of membership, we will gain access to almost 50 additional online resources in 2019. These include individual e-journal titles, e-journal packages, and databases, covering a wide range of subject areas

The resources will go live over the next few weeks.

Scheduled IT maintenance this weekend in Grangegorman

A quick reminder that there will be a scheduled IT maintenance this weekend in Grangegorman.

The library will open for study on Saturday but there will be no access to PCs, WIFI/Eduroam or Datapac printing services.

Borrowing, returning and group study rooms will be available

Feedback from Artfilms database trial

We previously informed readers about our trial of the database Artfilms which ran until 31st December 2018.

Now that our trial for Artfilms has finished we are looking for feeback from our users.

Grangegorman Library opening at 1.30pm on Thursday 24th of January

Due to a staff seminar the library will not be open until 1.30pm on Thursday the 24th of January.

The library will close at the usual time of 5:15pm.

Term time Saturday Opening resumes at Grangegorman Library

The library at Grangegorman has resumed regular Saturday opening hours.

The library will open at 10 am on Saturday mornings and will remain open until 5pm.

These hours will be in place for the rest of the academic year, bar a couple of Saturdays around bank holiday weekends.

Christmas Opening Hours operating from Monday

Just a quick reminder that as of from Monday 17th December the library will be operating reduced opening hours duirng the Christmas period.

Monday 17th December - Thursday 20th December: 9:30am to 5.15pm
Friday 21st December: 9.30am to 5pm

From Saturday 22nd December until Tuesday 1st of January the Library will be closed.

We will be operating normal opening hours from then on, so the hours for the first week of January will be:

Monday 31st December - Tuesday 1st January: Closed
Wedensday 2nd January: 9.30 am to 9.30pm
Thursday 3rd January - Friday 4th January: 9.30am to 5:15pm
Saturday 5th January: 10am to 5pm.
